Her acting in A Family Divided filmed just before these clips was fantastic.

Faye as Dr. Margaret Campbell in Grey's Anatomy: An Honest Mistake (2009) TV series. I really like Faye's performance here, especially the last scene.

Faye plays herself in a cameo (with son Liam) and Maximilian Schell is fictional director Viktor Kovner in Henry Jaglom's Festival in Cannes (2001).

THANK YOU nboston81!
I've been looking for this forever. Have it on vhs but no way to play it. I love Faye as Amanda Washington in this.
I remember when this aired. I had no warning, had not heard she was doing anything and I just happened to have the TV on that Sunday night and I was about to change the channel and then the promo for it came on saying it was airing next in about 5 mins! What a surprise.

You're welcome!! So do you know any of the back story about this one? I am assuming it was a made-for-TV film, so I put it in this thread. Do you know if this aired worldwide, and on American television, or was just something that was made for UK television? I guess I must have noticed it in Faye's IMDB filmography once upon a time, but never could find it, and sort of forgot it existed.
Love when these rare things pop up on YouTube. I hope one of these days somebody will be able to upload Faye's scenes from The Country Girl and Casanova and then just about all of the rare stuff will be out there, at least on YT!

It aired on a Sunday night on CBS in 2002 in the U.S.
I have The Country Girl on vhs, but no vcr player at this time.
Hopefully soon I can transfer it to digital and upload.
Still trying to find the best, most affordable option.

I don't suppose anybody has any interviews (print or TV) of Faye promoting the 1986 Beverly Hills Madam movie for television, do you? I'd be so curious to hear what she said about that project at the time (if she even agreed to do press for it). I suspect it was an enormous sum of money she was offered to do a project like that, and that was the only reason she would sign up for such a weak script, castmates, etc.

She was interviewed about it on Entertainment Tonight. I have the interview on vhs.

She was interviewed about it on Entertainment Tonight. I have the interview on vhs. Fascinating! Did she seem enthusiastic about the role at the time? Any interesting tidbits you recall?

She seemed excited about the role because she gets to deglam at the end. I remember she said of Lil Hutton "She's very ice cream, very perfect" At first I thought she said icy instead of ice cream but I swear she said ice cream.
I really need to get a vcr so I can rewatch all my old Faye clips and digitize them.

Ice cream... well now! Yes, I would love to see more of these VHS-only goodies if you ever get to share them someday. What a treat that would be.
