I'd like to get a thread going that gives a definitive list of the chronology of when Faye's film and TV projects from the 1980s and 1990s were filmed. Most times, these projects air in the order they were filmed but sometimes certain projects are delayed a while due to lack of interest (which I would suspect happened with some of Faye's lesser-known films from this period), or others are fast-tracked in post-production. Because Faye's autobiography doesn't dwell on details of many films from this time period, and because I don't have access to any film sites that might contain production history timelines, I'm hoping some of you can fill in the blanks or make corrections to the order I have things listed below.
In most cases, I'm just guessing on the order of these projects. And to be honest, sometimes what I try to use as a guide is to notice the changes in Faye's appearance during this time period as a sort of guide. She was experimenting with plastic surgery and different cosmetic things around this time so sometimes that can give me a hint as to what came before and after. But not always. If you can make edits or suggestions about the order projects were filmed (not the order they were aired!) that would be great.
Evita Peron Mommie Dearest The Country Girl The Wicked Lady Supergirl Ordeal By Innocence Christopher Columbus (I think this was filmed before Ellis Island because her appearance is more natural in this, and Ellis Island is one of the first to be filmed after plastic surgery?) Ellis Island Thirteen at Dinner Raspberry Ripple Beverly Hills Madam Casanova Barfly Midnight Crossing Burning Secret The Gamble Crystal or Ash Wait Until Spring Bandini Cold Sassy Tree The Handmaid's Tale Silhouette Scorchers Arizona Dream Double Edge The Temp It Had to Be You Columbo Don Juan DeMarco A Family Divided Drunks Dunston Checks In The Chamber Albino Alligator Twilight of the Golds

In doing some research as I posted some of the recent clips in the faye project - I can give a bit of a timeline for 1987-1988. She filmed Casanova on location in Spain as she was moving back to U.S. and then went straight into Barfly in Los Angeles, although her home was then Central Park West in NY. Faye then went to Florida and made Midnight Crossing and then straight to Czechoslovakia for Burning Secret then to Italy for the Gamble. No wonder she mentions in the Barfly GMA interview that she hadn't really been home yet, she had been on constant location during and right after her move back to N.Y. I posted the Barfly GMA and the Casanova ET interviews in opposite ordered of how they aired. I was going to post all Faye clips in chronological order, but I decided against it because it might be dull seeing the interviews for the same project back to back BUT the main reason is I'm still going through tapes and so it's hard to stick to that timeline because I keep finding Faye clips! I'm also interested in the 2003-2004 timeline because her mother Grace died the summer of 2004, so I would like to know what projects she was filming that summer if any, or what she just finished or was about to begin.

I used IMDB to locate some more confirmed/probable filming dates for some of these 80s/90s films so I am adding them here with some highlighted questions that are still mysteries to me. If you know some of these dates posted on IMDB to be wrong, do let me know. Summer 1982: The Wicked Lady is filmed. April-August 1983: Supergirl is filmed. When is Ordeal by Innocence filmed? Before or after Supergirl? It was released in January 1984. I haven't seen it but I believe Faye has a very small part that could have been filmed in a few days. I have no clue on the chronology of any of the 1984-86 TV projects. Based on Faye's cosmetic surgery to her face, I think Christopher Columbus was filmed first (she looks like natural Faye), then she changed her a face a bit with a tweak or two before filming Ellis Island, Thirteen at Dinner, Raspberry Ripple. Do you know the chronology of these ones? Was Raspberry Ripple filmed before or after Beverly Hills Madam?Early 1986 - Presumably she filmed Beverly Hills Madam around this time (maybe pilot season in January?). It first aired on television in April 1986. Does anybody know the filming period for sure?Summer or Fall 1986: Casanova is filmed. February-March 1987: Barfly is filmed. Summer or Fall 1987: Midnight Crossing is filmed. January-March 1988: Burning Secret is filmed. Summer 1988: The Gamble is filmed. January 1989: Crystal or Ash/Up to Date is filmed. February-May 1989: Handmaid's Tale is filmed. March-May 1989: Wait Until Spring Bandini is filmed. These two productions seemed to overlap. Faye's parts in both are small enough that she may gone from one to the other. Does anybody know which of the two roles Faye filmed first? Was Cold Sassy Tree filmed in summer 1989? It apparently aired in October 1989. Silhouette airs on TV in November 1990. When was this filmed? Summer 1990?April 1990: Scorchers is filmed (according to IMDB). I actually am not sure I believe this just based on Faye's changing facial appearance. It definitely would seem she filmed Silhouette before Scorchers (they were released in that order) but I'm curious to know more about filming dates if you know. Seems like Scorchers had its first ever release in July 1991 (film festival or cable TV airing, not sure). Can you confirm the filming period for Scorchers?1991: Arizona Dream filmed over many months, including a three-month hiatus. Was first shown in early 1993 at a film festival and was slowly released over the course of two years in different versions and territories. Did Faye film other projects during the three-month filming hiatus? I doubt it, but you never know. April-June 1992: The Temp is filmed. Some reshoots happen in late 1992/early 1993 for Faye's final scene. When is Double Edge filmed? After Arizona Dream and before The Temp? Or after The Temp wraps in June 1992?
Thanks for any insights you all have.

Andrew Birkin, who directed Burning Secret, posted the film for free on YouTube in late 2019. I just noticed he included some notes about the unpleasant filming experience that I've copied below. I guess this may explain why Faye didn't even mention this movie in her book. Too bad, I do like this film. I think Faye and the male lead (Maria something?) are the "two prima donnas" the director didn't like working with. The director writes:
"Burning Secret" was my first effort at making a feature film back in 1988. Based on a short story by Stefan Zweig, it had originally been commissioned by MGM five years earlier, but my script languished until Norma Heyman picked it up and got the now-defunct Vestron to finance it. Making the movie was something of a nightmare, not least because we shot it in Mariánské Lázně, then languishing in the twilight throes of communist Czechoslovakia. Formerly named Marienbad (as in 'Last Year in'), the town gave us some great locations, but in freezing conditions and amid a downtrodden, somewhat surly populace. Add to the mix two prima donnas who thoroughly disliked one another, a lighting DP and camera operator who harboured long-held animosities, a daily diet of starch-laden fodder, plus a trio of squabbling producers, and a happy first-time experience it was not, indeed the ordeal almost cured me of any further desire to direct movies. On the positive side, young David Eberts was a joy to direct, and made the behaviour of his adult confreres seem childish by comparison. The supremely talented production designer Bernd Lepel was also a delight to work with, and it was only fitting that both he and David picked up big awards at the Venice Film Festival later that year. The sharp-eyed may notice an odd credit at the end: "Snowman - Jaromer Mlezika". His job was to shovel snow as required, but although he was always more than willing and able to do so, we all noticed something strange about him. It turned out that as a child he had witnessed the Nazi liquidation of his village, Lidice, including the murder of his parents and siblings, and had never fully recovered from the trauma. Any problems that I faced faded in comparison ... Post-production back in London was no picnic, but it brought the enormous pleasure of working with Hans Zimmer on what was only his second feature, even though his score seemed more suited to a David Lean epic than a small-scale ensemble. Nor did the film do particularly well at the box-office, despite some pleasing reviews and a bunch of festival awards, not helped by the fact that Vestron was slowly going bankrupt and were strapped for cash when it came to promotion, but heigh ho. So, do I regret making it? Not a bit, and I thank all who helped pull it off, not least Bee Gilbert, without whom....

That is interesting. I went to his channel to watch it to see if the scene from the theatrical release that was cut from home media was there - alas not.
I wish he hadn't turned off his comments because I want to ask him why it was cut and where is the footage today.
(I must have answers haha)

I would love to hear some of his stories about making the film if you get a chance to ask. Also, I was disappointed to see that the version he posted is the letterboxed 4:3 version. I would really love to see a high-definition version in widescreen. I have to assume it was filmed in widescreen and released that way originally, but I have only seen the cropped letterbox version.
