I'm scared to get my hopes up because filming doesn't start until March 2019. And I hate that I'm scared to get my hopes up because of the past - lol!
I wonder if this means the West End play and plan to move to Broadway in an updated classic has evaporated?
It was exciting to see Faye's name in a headline about a new project though.

“Visceral” stars Campbell as Julie, a young cardiac surgeon who is trying to save a boy waiting for a heart transplant. When a compatible and available organ is finally assigned to him, Julie picks it up but is kidnapped by a Russian mafia family who also wants the heart at any cost in order to save their grandmother.
Will Faye be playing the Russian grandmother in need of the heart transplant? If so, hopefully she gets more lines than when she was waiting for a kidney transplant in that Frank Sinatra movie! lol

I'm expecting this:
A, She withdraws from this project before they start filming. B, She ends up playing the part and it's just a cameo with one or two scenes. C, She ends up being replaced at the last minute and we won't find out until the premiere.

Well, your A,B & C choices basically cover every eventual outcome. So, way to go out on a limb haha!

“Visceral” is set to start shooting in March in the U.K.
Any news Tony?

No news that I know of...guess she'll have an important but easy-to-patch-in role leaving her free to prep for Tea at Five..if indeed it happens. Am trying to keep the faith ;-)

Just got the info from the production company in France, filming has been pushed back to March 2020 and Faye is still doing the film. Yes, keep the faith!

Thank you for the update Brice (we've missed you!) Do we know if filming was pushed back to accommodate Tea at Five Broadway transfer or was it pushed back for other production reasons?

Hi Todd, Sorry, late reply again but I was able to get an answer Faye had agreed to take part in “Visceral” before she was committed to do “Tea at five”. The director and the production company were able to understand that the play really was a passion project for Faye and, instead of casting someone else, they agreed to push back filming.

Thanks Brice. That's good news. And it shows the producers really want Faye in the role if they pushed back production for her.
